As Head of Innovation at Phoceis, Rudy Houque detected the imminent impetus of connected objects. His background as an electronics engineer led him to set up a workshop in the garage of the Lille premises where he created a prototype of a revolutionary connected shoe for the renowned French shoemaker Eram.

This concept propelled the BLUEGRioT brand onto the international stage at CES in Las Vegas. The project took on a new dimension, and BLUEGRioT became a company thanks to the partnership of Rudy Houque and Ramuntcho Gassiat. Their ambition: to design connected devices to meet the needs of the most innovative customers.

The company BLUEGRioT is officially founded, adding in the process the indispensable talents of new partners: Paul-Etienne Méligne and Stéphane Demeersseman who respectively bring their expertise in product design and mechanical design.

In 2019, the company attracted the attention of Google, which awarded it the world record for the number of connected objects on a single Thread network for the connected hanger project implemented at Galeries Lafayette on the Champs-Elysées.

BLUEGRioT consolidates its position as a leader in the design of connected objects by obtaining ISO 9001 certification and diversifying into the design of medical devices, bringing increased rigor to its working methods.

The company is taking a significant step forward by moving to larger premises to support its growth and strengthen its micro-manufacturing business, marking a new stage in its innovative history.
